Vermont Chiefs of Police 8th Annual Golf Benefit Tournament

Golf With Us August 30, 2021 IN-PERSON!

We’ve all had some challenging times since last year. And our last tournament was held virtually. However, I am excited to announce that this year the 8th annual VT Association of Chiefs of Police benefit golf tournament will be an in person event. It will be held at the Woodstock Country Club in Woodstock.

The Woodstock Country Club has been named by Golf Advisor as the #3 Top Golf Course in New England, #7 for Golf Conditions in the U.S., and #3 Friendliest Staff in the U.S., you will enjoy one of the best golf experiences in the country. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., The Woodstock Country Club is a challenging, 18-hole masterpiece surrounded by lush hillsides and unspoiled Vermont landscapes.

The event is fun and fast paced. This year, in order to allow players the opportunity to head home a little earlier, especially if they have traveled from a distance, there will be a “TEE GRILL” between the 9th and 18th holes to allow players to eat as they choose. After the tournament we will have cocktails, award Prizes and hold the raffle!

Once again this year Kelly & Steve Hofmann have generously sponsored the hole in one prize. The prize this year is $50,000 CASH

The VACOP is asking for your support in one or more of the following ways:

-Consider becoming a sponsor for the event. A $100.00 donation will get your company a “tee sign” and a $500.00 donation will make you a major sponsor and you will get 3 tee signs and a banner prominently displayed at the event.

-Consider entering a team for the event or participating yourself.

-Consider donating an item for the raffle. All donations will be recognized at the event.

All checks can be made payable to VACOP. I have attached the Tournament Flyer to this letter.
