Our own organization, New England Association of Chiefs of Police, is in search of a Treasurer to oversee our financials. This is an exciting opportunity and time for NEACOP, our members and the six New England states we serve.
The Treasurer is responsible for overseeing NEACOP’s financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring fiscal accountability. While much of the financial processing is handled by the association’s accountant, the Treasurer provides oversight, signs checks and ensures proper financial reporting. It is an appointed position with renewable one-year terms.
