
President Phillip Jones of the New England Association of Chiefs of Police (NEACOP) and Chief of the Bridgton, Maine Police Department is pleased to announce the appointment of Frank Frederickson as NEACOP’s new Executive Director.
Director Frederickson, retired Chief of the Yarmouth, Massachusetts Police Department, brings a wealth of experience, energy, and dedication that will greatly benefit the association. A proven leader in law enforcement, he is deeply committed to the profession and continues to work tirelessly to support and improve policing across the region.
In accepting the role, Director Frederickson stated:
“I look forward to bringing momentum to NEACOP and advancing its mission of meaningful collaboration with police chiefs throughout New England. I am honored to have been selected and will give my full effort to ensure the continued success of this exceptional organization.”
Director Frederickson will continue serving as the Director of Governmental Affairs for the Massachusetts Fraternal Order of Police and as a board member of the Quell Foundation.
Founded in 1926, the New England Association of Chiefs of Police represents police chiefs and sheriffs from across the region. The association provides leadership, training, and scholarships, and recognizes excellence in policing through its valor and community policing awards. NEACOP is also deeply engaged in charitable and community causes, supporting organizations such as the Special Olympics and the Jimmy Fund, which benefit individuals and families across New England.
