NEACOP Executive Director Emeritus Chief John “Jack” D. Coyle
We are deeply saddened to report that the New England Association of Chiefs of Police long-time Executive Director John D. (JACK) Coyle Chief of Police Attleboro Mass. Ret. has passed away at the age of 91.
Jack served as our Executive Director for 38 years before retiring in 2020 and being named our Director Emeritus. Chief Coyle was a true living legend in the world of policing and his impact is still felt all across New England.
A wake will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Sperry McHoul Funeral Home at 15 Grove St. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church at 14 Park St.
