Below is a message from his wife of 52 years. Services will be held in Florida where they have been residing.

From Pat O’Dea:  It is with the deepest sadness that we tell you that Tom passed away yesterday due to complications from a recent surgery. He was my partner and best friend for 52 years, a great father and a wonderful ‘Papa’. He loved the military and law enforcement and was a true patriot. He was steadfast in his beliefs and true to himself. We’ll miss him like crazy and hope that he is entertaining someone, somewhere, with his favorite stories. We will especially miss his devilish smile… We would love to have you share any pictures or funny stories you have, to celebrate his life. Services will be held in Sarasota and we will let you know when arrangements have been made. Please keep Tom in your prayers.
